Day 1- Welcome to Africa

Upon arrival at Livingstone airport, now known as Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, you will be welcomed by our Breeze Africa Tours representative and taken on a road transfer to your luxury Lodge in Livingstone. This Zambia safari lodge is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, placing it in the ideal position for water-based excursion.  Be welcome into the warm Zambian hospitality with a local aperitif toasted arrival.  Your personal valet  who will take care of you for the duration of your stay will be at your service for a comfortable check into the Honeymoon House.  The Honeymoon House is the original blueprint for luxury at the Lodge and is built with the perfect view, indulgence and privacy in mind. Its private balcony overlooks the river, providing a perfect setting for a dip in the pool or a secluded candlelit dinner beneath the stars.
Your personal Valet will keep you refreshed as you await next day’s  first activity,  After such a long journey -a bubble bath will be awaiting you, courtesy of your valet. After that drown into romance at its best  as you suspend on the waters of the Zambezi during a floating sampan candlelit dinner (pre-booked)

Day 2- The Morning After !

Wake up to a dreamy sunrise cruise on which a sentimental breakfast will served .  Thereafter you will continue  with a  game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Besides being  situated along the upper Zambezi River,  the Park also  includes the Victoria Falls and stretches for about 12 kilometers up the River above the Falls. You will certainly enjoy your one on one encounters with the the Park’s provisions which include various  antelope species, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, and a variety  of birds and smaller animals.  You can also encounter elephants as they cross the Zambezi and freely walk through the Park and the surrounding area. After that you will have a private picnic lunch and guided bush walk on a local Island. Depending on your preference you can finish off the rest of your day fishing on the Mighty Zambezi

Day 3 -Sindabezi Island – The travelling lovebirds’ treat

Today you will sail through to the unique Sindabezi Island.  Here there is an idyllic, exclusive camp on a private isle on the Zambezi River, the only luxury bush camp from where Victoria Falls can comfortably be explored.

On the island you will experience the large number of activities in the area during the day and return to a tranquil haven, a thousand light years away from the bustle at night.  It will certainly be a night to reminisce in the Honeymoon Chalet which is situated on a secluded sandy shore at the end of the island with old-fashioned claw footed bath perfect for two.


Day 4-  Experience the Zambian Culture

Today is all about familiarizing yourself with Zambia’s culture and people. After breakfast be on  a road trip to Zambia’s  oldest and largest of all the national museums. It houses the most comprehensive memorabilia of Dr Livingstone, including authentic maps and personal effects and diaries in the Livingstone section. The tour will certainly give you that feel as if Dr Livingstone will just from nowhere pop by  for a hello.  The Museum as well It provides insight into the cultural  heritage and history of Zambia and the region in its Archaeology.

A  stop over slot will be created  for snacks and drinks before you go back in time  on a cultural visit to Mukuni Village. This is a 3 hour eye-opening, educational and inspiring activity. With a population of about 5000, Mukuni is a real village with real Leya people living their lives. During the tour, you will learn about their livelihoods, culture, and see Chief Mukuni’s Palace. You can also
pre-arrange to have a taste of the traditional food and beer. Do not forget to bring along your camera to capture the highlights.

To conclude the Day you will visit a local school and then back to the Island after such a long yet fulfilling day.

Day 5 -Cross over to Zimbabwe – The Private Hide

Today you are going to have an early morning 3hr drive to Hwange’s Private Hide for yet another secret safari gate away. You will have an option to settle on The Dove’s Nest which provides a perfect elevated space from which to survey your very own private kingdom. The Nest  overlooks the open tree-lined vlei and pan where giraffes and elephants come down to drink, this platform offers the perfect vantage point to view wildlife, the Big 5 included.

For the next 2 days you will have the chance to explore Hwange National park which is the largest park in Zimbabwe occupying about 14 650square kilometers. It became the royal hunting ground for king Mzilikazi in the early 9th century and was set as a national park in 1929. The Hwange National Park elephant
population is one of the largest in the world.

Day 6 -The Hide

Day 7 Victoria Falls -Best for the last!

Today you have an early morning drive to Victoria Falls. The  last 2 nature stuffed days have without doubted given you renewed energy. Victoria Falls is home to one of the 7th wonders of the world and you are in for a real treat as you go on board on a guided exploration of the superbly nature crafted Victoria Falls. The raging waters of the Zambezi River will definitely leave you yearning for more as they out-pour into the famous Batoka Gorge. The whole tour will carry you through the segments of the Victoria Falls rain-forest to the cliffs opposite the titanic waterfall. From that standpoint you will be rewarded with the non-peril view of the main falls. Our well versed Breeze Africa Tours guide will take you through the hypnotizing specifics of the geology, wildlife and history of Africa’s leading landmark. Once again have your camera at hand for a compilation of pleasant memories to carry back home. ** Please remember to bring cash to pay the park entrance fee at the gate. Day 8- End of Tour

Depending on your travel arrangements , you might still have some time to do last minute shopping and have your road transfer to the Victoria Falls Airport.
